Learning outdoors

Literacy doesn’t have to mean staying indoors with a book. As the weather warms up and lockdown restrictions ease, taking a trip outside with your child can open up lots of new ways to improve their reading, writing and communication skills.

We’ve put together several resources: a book list to encourage outdoor learning; a brilliant give away offering you the chance to get your hands on fantastic titles; book-themed activity sheets; a guide to creating a brilliant outdoor treasure hunt; and a tasty recipe to enjoy with your little one.
